Has anyone tried using lifted Chevy Springs springs on there ranger? If so what brand and how did they work. A stock set won't give me enough lift. I am currently running the factory block, 6" ranger skyjacker springs and a longer shackle. The lift height is fine but the flex leaves a bit to be desired.

My BII has 3.5" lift Pro-Comp Chevy leafs under it.
I kept bending RBV-fitment leafs at the forward eye (both Explorer leafs and Skyjacker), so enough was enough. So far so good... I ditched the ridiculously-thick overload leaf off the Chevy packs for the nearly-flat Ranger OL leaf (long-side facing forward).

FWIW, the Pro-Comp leafs are closer to 7" longer from the centerpin to the forward eye than RBV leafs (most reports I found put (stock) Chevy leafs at 6" longer).

How well do they flex in comparison to the skyjacker ranger springs?

Sorry for the delay...

I was running RBV OL leaves on my Skyjacker packs also... I think that if you still have your SJ packs as they came (SJ OL leaf), you'll see a great improvement in flex with the RBV OL leafs in the Chevy packs.

I also noticed a lot less flex-steer with the Chevy springs too (due to their longer length).
