So I have a 1989 ranger v6 2.9l. Recently it has been a pain getting it into second gear when the truck is first started/driven. Idk if its cause its been really cold in my parts lately or what But just thought i should see if you guys had any idea. Over the summer I had a bit thick tranny fluid in so i was thinking maybe that whats causing it to not go in. So i replaced the fluid to the normal weight yesterday and this morning samething happen when i started to drive. goes into first and third fine but it wasnt budging when i tried for second. After a few minutes of driving, then it has no problem going into second gear. Let me know what you think thanks.
