12 gal. fuel cell mounted in the bed, pump mounted to a cross member right under the cell, regulator mounted to the firewall.

i have the trans. out i want to run hard line instead of rubber hose for the fuel and trans. cooler.i want to get rid of as much rubber hose as i can.i would like to hard line from the pump to the reg.will there be to much flex between the frame and the cab to do this?the reg. will be where the slave reservoir used to be.the truck will be a DD for the winter. iam looking at SAS for next summer.

thanks for any input!

i dont think itll be enough to cause a leak myself.............but a 2nd or 4th opinion never hurts!lol

Run the hard line to the edge of the frame rail in the engine bay and put in a short section of rubber line to take the flex of the motor and cab. I did mine this way and it goes like this: Fuel tank to pump is rubber (about 12") pump to engine bay is hard steel line then a short section of rubber and steel line into the carbs.
