Bray, did you reserve a site yet?

Nope. I was gonna get ahold of everyone this weekend and see what their plan was (how many tents, etc) then reserve accordingly.

My replacement front shaft came in . The machining seems to be better, and the shaft looks different overall. Hopefully this ones a bit stronger than the last one. Even if its not, I'll be bringing a spare . I'm just happy that I'll be making the run with my truck at 100% again.

Can we reserve sever sites side by side as a group and that way for people who do not know anyone yet, can tell em what group they are looking for and be shown on a map?

Yeah, there'll be no problem finding everyone. This "campground" is an open grassy field. Flat as a 2x4 and the sites are in rows.

Bray, How many trucks/trailers did you get per site last time?

3 trucks w/ trailers, then my truck, wirsch's BII, Kings Yota, Katies Jeep, and all the quads unloaded. I think they allow 4 tents per site. There's plenty of room, and there wasn't one time that someone stopped to check out our site. Its pretty casual.

Well, I got a new axle yesterday, its stripped and I just need to set up gears and do a little welding. I have a line on decent tires, and I may have enough cash for new springs up front (I need bump stops). I think I can make it. Its expensive making sure you can drive 800 miles roundtrip.

Sounds like we'll have plenty of room if its just:
-My trucks/trailer
-Adam's Truck/trailer & Jeep
-Your truck
-Wirsch's Truck
-Jake's Truck

Anyone else coming? We'll split the cost of the site if you don't mind.

Yeah there'll be plenty of room. I can't think of anyone else coming. That's what I had hoped, just pick up a site and split the cost. Its 20 bucks per night for an electric site, and you can put up to 4 tents on it. 5 bucks per tent is WAY cheaper than 7 bucks per person (primative). That's what we did last time and it worked out beautifully.

I failed to contact anyone today. Even if I don't get ahold of anyone tomorrow I'll go ahead and reserve a site. Spread the word if you happen to talk to anyone.

I haven't talked to anyone but Wirsch (and you just now) since I've been back from Europe.

Did Adam end up getting more t-shirts made?

Not that I know of. We all kinda had a little get together (nothing formal) at Levi's the weekend after the bog. He brought up getting new t-shirts and it seemed like noone was really pumped about it. I don't think he persued it any further than that.

If he wants to have more made, I'd buy one for sure, but its events like this upcoming trip that I'm more concerned about.

OK, sounds like Adam is leaning towards getting a hotel room. His Dad's coming, and I guess the roof in his camper is leaking so he'll probably be staying there as well. Wirsch could care less where he sleeps, and I still plan to camp.

I called the campground 4 times today and finally just left a message. They never called me back. I'll try again tomorrow.

I am making this one. 95% sure, unless I run into some weird problem out of left field. I have parts on order that I am hoping will make it by the end of the week to get done this weekend. My buddy is gonna be meeting me down there with his car and riding shotty, we will be tent camping it.
