Halloween Run 2009

I hope we go. I wanna get muddy!

The BII should have the new clutch and slave cylinder installed by the end of the week. I will be there.

I say we all meet somewhere in IL and trek down together in a big old Ranger convey!

You just take I-74 all the way there from where we're from. If/when we nail down a time I'm sure we could get together on 74 and make our way over.

It be a good way to say F**K OFF, we drive Fords!

Umm there's a good chance most of the guys coming won't be driving Fords (tow rigs) :icon_confused:

My wife will kill me if I dent my ( ours ) Ranger, but oh well. That's the risk ya take. That's why certifit is my best friend :headbang:

Like I tell the wife. I didn't buy a 4x4 truck so it could sit there and be pretty. I bought it to off road with and fix up. :icon_hornsup:

ill be there and is there any special time?what we doin campng the 30th at night and goin muddin the next day?im new at this but it sounds like a blast.and the insurance thing is not a issue there they just prefer u did but dont enforce it.

I just plan on rolling in on Friday sometime in the afternoon, setting up camp etc. We'll wheel on Saturday and camp again Saturday night. Depending on the weather and condition of rigs, we'll wheel some more on Sunday and then head home.

I am tenatative for coming down. Trying to get some new tires first. It would suck to drive 8 hours, and not have good tires for wheeling. If I come down I will camp Friday and wheel Saturday.

I won't make it to far for me and I wont fit down the trails. have fun be sure to dress in your best costume

I want to know how you class driver ability? cause I am the greatest driver in my own mind but really I suck

Working on trying to make it. Money might be the issue though. Can I ride with someone on the trails? My truck is limited to what it can do till I lift her so.

I'm fairly confident I can run every trail there, so I'll be the leader and everyone else will fall into their respective "class" :D.

I was lookin pretty good till after the last bog. Gotta love it. Had a joint squeakin so I greased up my rear u-joint. Still squeakin so I put it on jack stands and stuck my head under there, its comin from my CV joint at my t-case. Plan to rebuild that this coming weekend. THEN, I wake up this morning and have no clutch. Fluid resivoir is empty. Fill it up and it works but disengages like 2" from the floor. I'll drive it till this weekend then try to vacuum bleed the slave when I'm jackin with the CV. I'll keep an eye on it and if the slave is leakin I'll try and tackle that the weekend after. In the meantime, hopefully my replacement shaft will come in since I broke one at the bog so I can get that swapped in. If all else fails I can do that at the campsite.

That'll give me one weekend to "once over" everything before the trip. Should work out beautifully, hopefully.

SOME ONE TAKE ME lol
