Had a very good day yesterday

Your bad at posting gifs...

Well damn... that was a pretty good day.

It's a Ford, you don't need to say it runs. Just like at car shows, the GM guys brag about "matching numbers" but the Ford and Mopar owners don't bother because no one would assume their original engine had grenaded and been replaced.

Fords are always matching numbers because its to hard to find another tranny/motor that was built the same week, in the same plant, installed in the same color car and had the same hubcaps so the shit bolts in.

I love ford...but they change alotta dumb shit for zero reason.

It's got a dent in it...

It is my life's goal to one day get an engineering degree, become a designer with FoMoCo, design a vehicle that has two different frames that are 100% not interchangeable. I think I will make the deciding factor as to which frame a vehicle uses be if it came with navigation or not.

That is still not as bad as Chrysler's 2.7L V6 using two different oil filters based on if the engine was in a coupe or sedan.

As long as you design 2 new frames to replace them for the next model year.

Well yes, but it has to be a total of 4 actually, because this will be for something like an Expedition, so there will need to be 2wd and 4x4, nav and non nav in each.

Sounds reasonable for a car manufacturer.

You cant make it that obvious...

You need to do something like have 5 different sets of brake pads that look absolutely identical but for some unknown reason are all off by an undetectable degree that makes them non interchangeable with each other. And deciding factor on which model gets which pads needs to be something the average car owner doesn't know. Like the exact manufacturing date or the 7th digit of the vin number.

And just to be a dick give them all the same part number, then revise it a dozen times so no one can figure out what the hell is going on.

Make it 100% random... the only way to tell is a sticker on the caliper that’s held on with water soluble glue that’s LLOONNNGGG gone by the time it needs a brake job.
