I went to the bone yard and got a set of '98 Chevy 1500 leaf springs, took off the over load so now i have 3 leaf packs and put them on.. Anyway, now my truck leans when I have a full tank of gas and sets good when it is just about empty. Does this sound normal? If not, what should I do to adjust for it? It really bothers me....

You can take one leaf out of your Ranger spring pack and add to the new springs, that might help. The problem is that without the OL, the 63's are fairly soft. This is good for flexy springs, but sometimes they're too soft. Your extended cab is on the heavy side for the RBV's, and with a full tank of fuel (about 200#) added to just the diver side, they're bound to sit at different heights.

My old springs in my Chevy did the same thing. The driver side sat about 1" lower than the passenger side did when I had a full tank.

I havn't had that problem with mine yet either. I tossed the overload and added a ranger main leaf with the eyes cut off of it into the pack and it doesn't leak with a full tank of gas. Plus I have 400 lbs of extra weight on there with my steel logger box.

Ok, maybe I will just add a ranger leaf to the driver side and call it a day. I don't really want any more lift in the rear so I hope all it will do is level it out.

Should I use a main leaf or a shorter one from my ranger pack?

I was looking at my old ranger leafs today and I was wondering if I just put my old overloads will that help support it? Will it only lift my truck up the thickness of the over load?? I don't want the back any taller, just level.

Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Yup, that'll work too. The overload's generally only come into play once you put weight on the truck, and keep the main leafs from goin past flat.
