??? How do you figure that reads 270,000. It rolls over every 99,999 miles. so maybe thats 227,000 miles

see, and you thought you would never have to use math again after school
guess in original odometer said 11900, which for that year of truck is probally either 111,900 or 211,900 and the milage shown now is 27000 which is either 127,000 or 227,000, so in less than a year he has put either about 15,000 miles on in 1 year or 115,000 miles on it in 1 year, and there is a big difference.

coarse something seems wierd between the 0 mile marker and the 2/10th marker
