Gt-12

well,we broke 100,000 views guys.

congrats to all:icon_cheers:

Is it winter yet?? It's 49 here tonight so I bet it's colder there. It's close enough right??
it's still warm enough to work outside, and i've got to get the ranger back on it's wheels before winter hits hard,so that's where i've been spending my fab time.

the gt has been getting a lot of thought and attention, though.i'm planning my next moves and ordering important bits:icon_thumby:
congrats to YOU, this is your deal buddy! you earned every one of those 100,000 views!

as much as i appreciate that,if it were just me throwing down dry facts of what i'm building, the thread would not have anywhere near the appeal.

it's everyone that's been a part of it that makes it worth coming back to.

i'll tell you a little secret...i'm actually documenting the build on another site that specialises in british cars but there's no input from others, and it's kind of boring.i have a hard time even bothering to update it,though i did just put up some more stuff.it was the first time since november.

Mine's an 84 but I believe they used the same rad for all the years. It also has a cooler for auto tranny built in which might be useful or not. It is efficient enough that the cooling fan hardly ever runs.

thanks....but i just got off the phone with the rad shop.

i bit the bullet and ordered up a custom made 4 row copper/brass triple pass radiator with trans cooler for about $1000.

let's hope it works.

Wow! That's a lot of money for a radiator.

What is the matter are you not talented enough to build the radiator also. Dont listen to me all I understood is the radiator has 3 cores and a oil cooler, you probably get alot of those hits from guys like me wondering when we will see some more pics of your unlimited fab skills. I just aquired a boat for free a 91 16 foot sterling bowrider with a volvo penta SP sterndrive 120 hp. Hopefully all I need is the timing belt, raw water impeller some seals and a start relay. It has been sitting for two years any advise on what I need to do before taking it out if The cooling system is tite other than change engine and gear oil.
