I have a 1990 ranger. i know that the explorer grille is a common swap for these body styles. is the explorer limited grille a bolt-on swap as well? i found one in a junkyard for $10, but it doesnt look like it has the same mounting points as my grille now....any info on if this will work? thanks guys!:headbang:

Will work just fine. If you are taking it off at the junkyard bring a long screw driver with you to get the lower clips of the grill.

thanks man. i havent seen any of my body style running that particular grille, so i wasnt sure. appreciate the advice!!

As long as it is a first generation Explorer (the boxy style)

The newer ones 95 or 96?+ are not the same.

i run th regulat explorer gril in mine... love it... painted to match... i may be switching the mazda navajo grill and lights next...when te truck gets painted im going to have 3 or 4 grills painted with it cause i cant make up my mind...they all swap in and out in about 5 min - the navajo... that one takes about 20 min...
