Grille swap question...

I have a 1990 ranger. i know that the explorer grille is a common swap for these body styles. is the explorer limited grille a bolt-on swap as well? i found one in a junkyard for $10, but it doesnt look like it has the same mounting points as my grille now....any info on if this will work? thanks guys!

Will work just fine. If you are taking it off at the junkyard bring a long screw driver with you to get the lower clips of the grill.

As long as it is a first generation Explorer (the boxy style)

The newer ones 95 or 96?+ are not the same.

i run th regulat explorer gril in mine... love it... painted to match... i may be switching the mazda navajo grill and lights next...when te truck gets painted im going to have 3 or 4 grills painted with it cause i cant make up my mind...they all swap in and out in about 5 min - the navajo... that one takes about 20 min...
