Im having a pretty hard time finding a decent grille gaurd for my ranger, at a reasonable price anyway.

I am looking for the kind that covers the front grille (obviously) and also the head lights. I have seen a few i would be interested in from westin, but of course they want danm near $500 for it and i think that is way too pricey. I am willing to go up to 300-350, thats about it. anything above that i think is ripping you off.

Thought i got lucky and found a brush guard i wanted for the right price, then shortly relized it was a website trying to be slick, by selling the 470$ westin bar, for a listed price of 325$ bucks, and then when you go to check out shipping and handling is about 145$. Whereas other sites just sell the bar for 470$ and "free" shipping.

I found that same website you did, I think, but it was for an Aries bar... Grille guards are way too ___ing overpriced these days. Your best bet is getting something off craigslist... there is NOTHING out there for a full front protecting grille guard with light guards for 300 bucks...

I'm in the same boat...and theres not much on kijiji up here. Frick. I wish I had good fabbing skills. Haha

fab skills dont exist. I mean, im sure i could put something together that looks nice if i had a few days to toy around with scrap metal, a grinder, and welder...but thats probably not going to happen as that is current unavailable to me. There for, i want to buy one, but looks like everyone has noticed the same thing i had, that there isnt a decent priced on on the internet. CHecked craigslist...almost got lucky, a guy has one for a 93-97 ranger for 75$, but mines an 03, so i dont think it would work on mine.

Honestly, buy the thing. The brackets can always be adjusted to it, and the front end ain't all that different. If all else fails you could have it for a push bar, and then make some new light guards if you wanted to.

Buy the thing, you might not get many other chances.

Yeah, well, let us know what happens! Something like that probably isn't too common, so it might sit on craigslist for a while, and like you said, he could still have it.
