Hello TRS!

I joined a few weeks or so ago and can't get enough of this site! Great stuff, helpful people and tons of knowledge!

My truck is detailed below, it is my DD currently. I also own a 2000 Ford Focus SE (2.0L ZE DOHC 5 Speed). Fun car, in parts currently (pretty much a full overhaul).

1990 Ranger SuperCab 2WD
2.9L V6, K&N Filter (w/ Standard Intake configuration)
M50D-R1 5-Speed
3.73 Stock gears
Motorcraft Platinum Plugs
5w30 Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil
Goodyear Regatta II P215/70R14 Tires at approx 36PSI
Short Exhaust, from cat to a Thrush muffler, passenger side exit

77K Miles - yes, actually 77K, truck has been in the family since new and has been well taken care of.

Have some reman Raybestos calipers coming for the front as I've had one that doesn't want to let go occasionally. Recently re-plumbed most of the brake lines (proactively as the Michigan winters have been eating them alive).

I've wanted a Bronco II forever and I will be taking care of that dream very soon! :yahoo:

Great site, great people, great trucks. :icon_cheers:

Cheers,

Brian

Welcome to TRS~!

For the sticky caliper, it may not be the caliper itself, but the flex line...there've been a few people that found their brakes sticking even after replacing everything...other than the flex line...but hopefully that fixes it for you...if not...check out the brake thread...the only actual fix is to replace the flex lines though...I've had to do it myself due to sticky brakes...

Otherwise...enjoy!

Mark,

Thanks for the tip, I read about the flex line in the brake section as well. I first replaced both of those and it seemed fine for a few weeks but today one of them hung up a bit. I guess I went the backwards route, pretty much replacing everything before the calipers :D

Thanks again!

No problem! Hope the caliper works out for you...the caliper pin grease really helps...as I found out the hard way...the first time they were sticking it was because I didn't grease the pins and the caliper was hanging up on the sliders...

I will make sure to pay special attention to the caliper pins. My Raybestos calipers and Russell Speed Bleeders should be here tomorrow, just in time for the weekend! Added a pic too.

welcome!! and nice truck
hope to see some more pics soon
see u around!
