I'm Richard, you can call me anything but Dick, unless I'm being one. Anyway I'm not new to Rangers, but I am new to the forum, although I am an active member of FRF. Decided to expand out a little just because I can. I have a 97 Ranger I inherited/bought 2 years ago. I am originally from Washington state in the Centralia area. I still call it home, but I travel for work, and the last 2 years I spent in Montana finishing my bachelor of science diesel technology from Montana State University Northern. Now I live in Tennessee, and I work for Kiewit Power Constructors, so I move around a lot, in the last 2 years I've been in 24 states, and the Rangers been in most of them with me lol. Looking forward to chatting.
The back story on the truck: My Grandfather (Norman Dale Howard) bought this truck new in 97, he passed away early in 2008, just before I graduated from Centralia College getting my 2 year degree in diesel tech. He left the truck to me in his will, but I wouldn't take it from Grandma, so I purchased it in August 08. I also need a 4wd for Montana, so it worked out well for me. The truck had 30,200 miles on it when I bought it, as of yesterday I rolled over 81,000 miles on here, with really no major issues.
Other vehicles I own: 75 Buick LeSabre (Hoopty), 94 Jeep Cherokee, and my first vehicle my 99 GMC Sonoma (Sorry guys, GM boy first, ever since the Ranger though who cares as long as it's not Asian, no offense to their trucks, just not my style)
