Hello everyone. I am picking up my first Ranger on Saturday, and figured I'd join this site. It will be my fourth truck over all, and my first 4X4. My other rides were a 80 GMC Sierra Classic with a rebuilt Olds 454( only got one speeding ticket, amazing!!!) A 84 Toyota 22R long bed I should have never sold, and a 66 Chevy 3/4 ton custom cab with a 283 three on the tree that drove the ladies wild ( just like the one my dad and I used to roll when I was just a little guy) R.I.P. Clementine. I am actually buying the Ranger from the same guy that sold me Clem. My new Ranger is a XLT extended cab 4X4 with 90,000 miles, a stellar maintenance record, and not a scratch on her. As soon as I get her home I will post some pictures for you all to check out. If anyone has any advice on what to watch out for mechanically, or if 2400 is too much to pay, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for your time, and have a great day.
