It calls for 265s but I went to 235s a few years ago due to their high cost. Fact is I turned out liking the 235s better anyway, better torque and more brake HP, makes cruising easier, 75 is within easy reach.
Still it isn't an easy call, due to the Goodyear Wranglers I got last time becoming too popular, and every time I look it says sold out. I got online today and it had me Spokane, Sacramento, somewhere's out west and they were sold out too!

When I first get online and do a search it brings up about 5 options, none of which say anything about sold out, but every one being some Chinese store with prices like 29 bucks each leaves me thinking the shipping will cost enough to buy a ship :/

I'm hoping to try and get a couple when I get over to a bigger store in a couple days

@Josh B ,
Which model do you want?
The Walmart charges something like $12/wheel installation, $2 disposal and grants a free lifetime balance and Road hazard damage warrenty/repair for tires bought from them or through their online store.

What size you running? 235/75r15?

Id reccommend the general grabber atx or BFG A/T

FWIW, I ordered tires from Walmart online few weeks ago, the tires don't get shipped together by FedEx due to weight methinks. You may have to wait seperate days for all 4 tires. Walmart uses FedEx for tire deliveries.

Walmart online is like Amazon or eBay where people other than Walmart can make an account and sell stuff on the platform..

Buying from a listing sold by Walmart has the option to pick up in store.. no money for shipping.. and can get all 4 tires at once lol.

@Blmpkn Question, being I bought the tires from Walmart online, can they balance them for me for free? I had them mounted by a local station here in NY. But I didn't get them balanced yet though. There's no Walmarts in my area, but when I eventually go to New Jersey there's one there that I can use. Reason is the toll is $15 so I'm in no hurry to pay that toll unless I go to NJ.

No idea on that one.

They mounted them but didn't balance them? What kind of crazy, cheap tire place does that? The 2 go hand-in-hand. You mount the tires, they need to be balanced. And they're already off the vehicle. It's less work to do it all at once.

I'm only wanting two. There's still good tread on two plus a good spare, two new ones with the best tread for the rear for mileage will still leave plenty for the rest
I don't even think I can get 2 with a sold out sign up
Maybe I'd better check it out a bit closer, and maybe start swapping over to a couple of those alternates
Hek, my neighbor has a tire store but I don't know any of their brands. I've stopped in there a couple times to get a flat fixed, but I just don't know anything about their tires(or treads), needs a smooth ride if the gas goes belly up and got to start hyper-miling again

Everything BF Goodrich under 150 is out of stock
They had one gripper for 240 out of stock
Seems anything fit to buy is out of stock :/
There's one other brand up there somewhere I'm gonna check

Right Rusty, I'm looking for 235/75r15

Anybody ever heard of or tried those ebay "take-off" tires.
They have free shipping one way but to send one back you gotta pay your own shipping
Only buying 2, at those prices I might try a close match

The grabbers and BFG were sold out also any with earth-like prices

Check out whatever kenda is offering in your size.

I went with 35" klever r/t's for the Bronco and I got the entire set of 5 for cheaper than 4 BFGs would of been.. and they share the same mileage on warranty IIRC (50k miles)

It's my second set of "full size" kendas and I'm more than happy... I've had endless sets of kendas on everything from pedal bikes to ATV's and they've always kicked ass. They know how to make a tire.

Because they wanted an extra $25 each tire for balancing. I'm very thrifty. 🤪
