or could have atleast called the friend for directions. Never trust a GPS. I have a worldnav and it is trucking industry specific with truck routes and restricted routes including frost law routes and It still was only accurate 99% of the time....... if you don't know how to get there then a phone call does wonders.

I heard about this on the radio this morning, they said the guy was driving down trails just because the navigation told him to. I hope that tow was expensive.

Unfortunately, idiots outnumber us by about 5.5 billion...I try to tune out the stupidity, but they have a way of finding you...

I just read in my local paper that gps navigators have increased the number of people stranded on back roads in the woods during winter here. Well theres only 2 feet snow on this unplowed road but this 4 door sedan can go anywhere my gps says I can. So I guess we all need to suport our local search and rescue by buying a gps navigator.
