Man, what a difference the L/S makes.....:icon_surprised: I took it out for a bit yesterday & this thing pulls, I got into a couple of rocky areas while me & my buddy were cutting trails on his families property, it climbed like a mntn goat with no wheel spin...:icon_confused:.....drives better now with the 8.8 minus the sway bar & has more flex!! :headbang:

old 7.5 open & sway bar ready to come out:

Love it. Jealous....

Lucky. I just stopped by the fab shop to check on mine. They ran into some issues. The surface rust was deeper than we thought. Gonna go $100 over budget,

I have a L/S 7.5 had plans to put in a locker but as long as it works this good i'll keep it in there.I did have trouble with my 28 after I put 33s and a lock right in it kept wiping out U joints bought a hybrid 35 from the web sight kept the same locker no problems. My point being that when you lock them both it really comes around but the 28 is not up to it.

I just bought the welder you dad has I think it will work good once we spend some time together.

What's a rundown on the breaklines you had to use?

Very nice sir. I was very pleased with mine after I got her in a couple weeks ago. I got drums instead of discs though. I don't really care that much and the one with drums was easier to get to at the j/y. I am pretty sure, one way or another, your D28 will be on the chopping block soon enough.

Brother,
Glad ya like that 8.8 Disc brake rear end!
That L/S makes a difference and it'll give ya a hell of a boost at TB. I've had little trouble at TB but I'm also running a lock-rite in the front. That's the big kicker!
And how about them Disc brakes!! Got to be at least a 1/3 or more les stopping distance!!!
ANDDDDD...
I know where there is a D35 with a lock-rite in it, that's about to be replaced with a D44, as soon as Bronco Graveyard can send the right rebuild kit! It'll be cheap, even though it's got that new lock-rite in it. Had no trouble with it, don't leak, just going SAS.

Looking good bro!
Sell me the 35 ..................cheap..............lol!

Hey Allen, looks good brother:icon_thumby: You will really love it when you pull a trailer and step on the brakes, but be careful and wear your seatbelt, it'll throw you through the windshield!!

We took the divider block that bolts to the top of the 7.5 & sends fluid to each rear wheel, bolted it in same spot on the 8.8. & connected it to the stock supply line that connects to the frame. Eliminate the driver side brake line on the 8.8 itself & replace it with one for the passenger side, then you can run the lines from the divider block to each side.

From there, we just gravity bled the lines using the stock master cylinder & BAM, disc brakes!!! Does all that make sense? It's easier than it sounds....:D

Copperhead, stay away from that 35 bro!!!! I might go postal & try to run you down in a mail Jeep....:icon_twisted:

SVT, It's awesome bro!! Thanks again my friend!! :icon_thumby: You & Jay need to get together & get that 35 ready for me, I got the bug now!!:icon_bounceblue:

I am gonna have to get somebody to make me a winch bumper also...:icon_idea::icon_welder: I have use of a brand new XRC8 winch if I can get it mounted, it's on my bro's Jeep. The clutch is out on the Jeep as well as the rear diff., he ain't gonna fix it for a while & said I can use it!!!!! :yahoo:

8.8 + Dana 35 + winch = :headbang:
