Got my Yakima Basketcase

I went ahead and got the basket I wanted. One that would fit the way I wanted it to and one that I could drive into the garage with it attached and did not have to take it off and on just to get into the garage and get out of the garage!!!

I got my new new Yakima Basketcase late this morning and just installed it about 45 min ago. I have not used it yet, but I already like it. I can either raise it up higher or use it in the position it is in now...down between the bars. It was very easy for me to install and I am disabled with spine, hips and pelvis issues and chronic nerve damage in the legs and can't walk worth a flip!!!! My right pelvis area is partially paralyzed....so if I can do this anybody can.....lol

I had to loosen and then widen my roof rack just a bit to make this fit perfectly ( just the way I wanted it to).

I bought it last Saturday on Ebay for $92.80 total with shipping included. I thought it was a good deal. I even got a stretch net in the box with the hardware.

Thanks, guys. I will be using it soon for my camping trip to Ocala, Fl. It is the right size for my needs!!! My buddy let me borrow his Yakima Load Warrior and I had to take it off to get in the garage and then put it back on after I backed out of the garage before I left for a weekend camping trip!!! lol

could you please post a picture of the whole truck? Im really wanting to do this and would like to see the size of racks and basket in comparison to the look of the whole truck. From what i can see looks fantastic good work.

Here are some current photos. I just got the photos downloaded a few moments ago. I went out a test drive to see how it feels with the new Basketcase added. It very quite and I can't tell it is even there. Just like when I added the Yakima roof rack. Can't tell it it there. Yakima makes some real nice stuff. My rack system is the older SST setup and I have had it for a very log time. It has been on many vehicles we have owned.

EDIT: You mean the decal on the back half of the truck? I think it says Ford.
