:headbang: and now my wife has kicked me out of my 89 Full Size Bronco! :bawling: Now, this is gonna sound nuts, but it is all true. For the last three years my daughter, who turned 5 a couple of months back has been argueing with me, my wife AND her brother that the little red 84 BII was hers! She has gotten to the point where she will tell you this whether you ask or not, and threatens to "kick your butt" as she puts it if you don't agree with her. :icon_hornsup: My son who is nine is the proud owner of an 84 longbed 2.8 5speed 4x4 ranger now, as of today (Sunday) and has told his sister point blank to "Stay the Hell out of MY Ranger!" No kidding, those are his exact words. :icon_hornsup: And my wife got me to sign the title for the 89 Bronco over to her on Thursday, so I guess that I am stuck with my Mudhound now. :yahoo: :headbang:  Now, I have to figure out how the heck I am going to be paying for all of the mods. that are going to be happening to the RBVs'. :icon_confused: :icon_idea: :icon_welder: Thank God I have several years to get each one ready for their future drivers!

You let your kids talk like that? They'll need free cars to get to that job at Bk or KFC....

So how long until they start driving? I can only hope my kids have a love for vehicles like I do...oh, and I pray to god they don't turn out like Jason!

Me too! Right now I have my Mustang in getting body and paint done. My 6 year old daughter told my wife the other day "I sure hope Dad takes care of that Mustang when he gets it back. I want it to look good when he gives it to me when I turn 16". She also cried (more than I did) when I sold my Explorer and my Mountaineer. So I think the chances are high that she will like cars as much as her Daddy does. :icon_thumby:

And for the record, I have a VERY hard time selling a car. I get very attached to them.

i got stuck on the b2 when my father had one when i was young.. like 3-7 lol, the 86 he had caught fire. He replaced it with the 88 had it a few years and sold it. Well when i was 14 we bought the exact 88 b2 back from the guy for me! and i've been driving it for 6 years pretty much. started out on the farm and now it's my dd/ww

The moments like these ( the love of a vehicle, not the language, as some want to think ) kinda make you happy, scared and giddy all at the same time, I think. My son has been quite good at driving the offroad gocart that we built together when he was 7, the old XJ when we wheel since he was about 5-6, and the turbo deisel Tracker that we just finished. My daughter is still too small to run anything by her self, and she cannot wait until she is big enough, so she has been giving her little KDX90 a rough life, since it is the only thing that she gets to run by herself. Brings a tear of joy to my eye to see the kids fighting over who is getting/ driving what.
