My buddy got new 35s on his big chevy and I noticed his bushwackers look pretty sweet. I'm getting a 6" SJ class II and 33's, but my 31's are like 75% and could definitely use the resell cash towards a lift. My fenders are rotted out pretty bad. What if I were to buy some full size bushwackers for an f150, bronco, or silverado and cut out my fenders to fit them, then stuff the new 33's under there?

IIRC you should be able to easily fit 33's without enlarging the fenderwells with a 6" lift.

At one point I am pretty sure Bushwacker made flares that actually fit RBV's, maybe that was just the older ones though.

Chevy has the brainy idea of square wheel wells to house round wheels, it would probably be best to stay with Ford that for the most part lately uses round wheel wells... much like what your truck has now.

Oh yeah that's the plan is 6" and 33's, but I figured since my fenders are already rotten and need to be trimmed up... Then I could spend 200 on bushwackers, put my 33's/new wheels on the truck with no lift, sell my mags with 31 bfg's for 600 which puts me 400 closer to buying the 6" lift.

Yeah, but then you're gonna need 35s to fill up those cut out fenders. :D

Sounds good to me! Now let me just use the handy search tool to check up on 35's and 3.73's.................. :shok:
