and didn't know exactly where to post it.....

I need to buy a driver side door latch mechanism for a 94 Ranger... and was wanting to know what years will interchange with it......

page 18,lmc truck catalog.lmc truck.com.i'd say post in exterior section.

i wasnt 100% sure on that so i just stated what i was sure about which should give him a good idea atleast

Well I went to LMC and I'm no closer than I was awhile ago....

If you look at this link you can see that the latch mechanism is not listed, but the striker type my truck uses (22) is...

But if you look at this link for the Explorer... the latch mechanism is listed, but uses the round type striker (15)

I can't tell from the pictures if they are close enough to use, and I'm not sure about the differences in striker types.....

have you went to ford and ask how much it is there you might be suprisd I bought new handles for my 01 for 11 dollars each.
so it might not be that bad.

Oh I was surprised alright.... they were somewhere around a hundred and twenty bucks a piece... plus another 20 to special order them..... and I just can't see paying that for them....

Tried a salvage yard? The Pick'N'Pull here has a few of that body style Ranger, and they go for very cheep. That way you know you're getting the exact one you need to.

Yeah... that's my next choice..... just been kinda cold here, and Barrett-Jackson Car Auction has been on the tube and all.... you know...

You realize that you're saying "It's kinda cold here" to a guy from Canada?!
