Got a F150 for FREE

Yep, picked up my 1996 F150 for free this weekend. It belonged to my brother in law. He bought a newer truck and the lot didnt want to give him anything on it so he asked me if I wanted it. I said sure and was making an offer to him and he said that he would just transfer to us(wife and I ) for free.It is a standard cab, long box,5 sp, inline 6 300. He put new tires last fall, new front tank, new oil pan, new valve cover gasket. Now I can make the BII into offroad only.

thats sweet. I cant say much though mine was kind of a hand down truck, so i got it free from my dad. Mines has a few more years with it though its a 1989 lariat. Its seen the under world. Great truck.

but the 300ci reliable as hell. and its not that bad on gas, considering other engine options. still no gas saver, but better than a 351 or 460.

Not much different than my BII. I got 22 on the highway driving it home. My BII wont do that. Get y'all some pics tomorrow. It is 2wd (for now, got an extra D44 in the garage)
