7 MPG.. My gawd, I was driving a 6,000lb F-250 with the aerodynamics of a brick wall and getting 12mpg. Take that damn thing to a compitent mechanic and have it fixed. You should be getting mid teen mpg in the city and close to if not more than 20 on the highway.

I always try to convince myself to buy another "newer" vehicle because I need it for this or that reason, but I always fall back on the fact I have no car payment right now and I can a good bit of maintenance for the cost of one payment.

x2, Dad has a 74 F250 with a 390, and back when it used to see highway time, it got around 12 also. If you're gonna trade it, trade for a 4 cyl Ranger. My 2.5 gets around 26 driving back and forth to work (mixed driving), and has a decent amount of power. Enough to pull a Jetta on a dolly back from Clatskanie anyway (some decent hills).

Must take you a while to do a trip at 24 MPH. That sucks.

Maybe you should replace or check the o2 sensor on it because I had a car that was only getting like 15mpgs but it used to get 32mpgs, don't remember what it was though. At any rate your gonna have to fix your truck before you sell it so you can get a decent price for it or trade, cause no one wants a 2wd truck that has a v6 and mud tires that gets only 7mpgs, I could get a 460 big block in my ranger and still get better mileage then that.

I brag about food? Why would I pay for rent, I'm only 17 and I live with my mom. I do pay for the mods, insurance and gas.

I don't live with my dad you dumbfuck, and I haven't really gotten to spend time with him in months.
