I have a 98 Ford Ranger 4x4 and I am replacing my upper and lower ball joints...where should I go to get a good deal on my parts? Anyone have a good website?

Thanks!

Are you looking for ball joints or food? LOL

I always check rockauto.com first. Good brands at fair prices.

Fixed your thread title for ya!

Same recommendations as above..especially Rockauto.

Moog is a good brand. Check them out!

Moog is definitely good stuff. Carquest's premium line is Moog if you have them in your area. We use them all the time at my dealership when we can't get Ford ones quick enough.

You're never to broke to pay attention

If you decide to get Moog, make sure you get the real thing:

http://www.federalmogul.com/en/Afte...Products/MOOG-Steering-Suspension/BallJoints/

They will have "Moog Problem Solvers" stamped into them and have pressed-on dirt covers.

Their factory reps came into one of our local chain part stores and took all the brandX ball joints off the shelf and put them in Moog boxes they had brought with them. I asked to see one and sure enough, Same Moog box, same Moog price, but nothing like the ones I had just got at Advance. I'm sure it was legal, thats the scary part...

ok...moog it is...thats funny...my brother is an engineer at federal mogul in ann arbor...i never knew about the moog connection!

sounds like the sellers truck is a 94 to me. So I would say no they wont.

rockauto.com and search the web for the 10% rock auto coupon code.

spicer is a good brand as well. the ones with blue boots, think they are the pro line for the top of the line.

not sure, but you may want to check in to seeing if you have to repalce the upper arm/balljoint in one. some of the A arm rangers you have to dpont rember years etc. info is here on TRS though.
