Ok so ive been kinda worried about the proposed 2009 trs.com get together due to the fact that i dont have a tow rig to get there (i gotta drive a good 1500 miles), well i got a call from my sis up in salt lake and she talked her husband into selling me his 1996 dodge 2500 cummins for about $11,000. hes only had the truck for about a year but the best part is that its only got bout 160,000 miles on it. when i go up to her house on the ninth ill post a bunch of pics.

the mods include
  • 2 1/2 inch leveling kit
  • strobe lights (previous owner was a firefighter and used it for work)
  • $2500 custom made camper shell with 1500 lb capacity roof rack
  • 4 1/2 inch turbo back exhaust with high flow air filter
kinda of a random post but i havnt been this excited in a long time!

P.s. for those who remember from the old forums its the same dodge cummins i rescued from the mud, and from almost tipping over two times, and i did it with my 1990 ranger! Ya go ford.

awesome deal. hope you can get it.

proposed 2009 trs.com get together

Proposed....

It will happen. Or at least I'll be there. If nobody else shows I'll just enjoy the vacation since it's a vacation destination. Always something to do there......

Congrats on the rig.

Look at it this way, you could sleep in it. You know, some of you guys that want a hotel and want to save money should consider suites. They seem expensive up front but you could split them by 6 people.

im such a bad brother. i talked my sisters husband into dropping the price to $9000 oh well that means 2 grand extra to dump into my ranger.

sweet rig man!!! i am in no way a dodge fan, but to me, a dodge truck is just the wrapper that everyone's favorite diesel comes in...
