Good news for me for once

Well 2 yrs ago to the day I lost my job and have been looking for 1 since. We live in a small town (800 people) so job are scarce and next bigger town (1500 people) is 25 miles away and we have 1 vehicle so it hit and miss.

Well today was a great day
Well today will be a first in a long while I have 2 jobs, I got hired by Hyde County on their tree planting crew and start today also I have the school to clean today as I am the substute janitor there and only get about 12hrs a month.

Well after about 1hr after acepting the three planting job I got a call from a place I had inquired about but they were looking for truck drivers at the time, well they need a yard hand filling trucks up with liquid fertilizer and other dutys so I accepted it and called the county back to let them know my decission. The Yard Hand job is temperary like the tree planting just for the summer but it pay $12 hr @ 12hr day the tree planting was $10 hr @ 8 hr days

Congratz man!! I was unemployed for maybe a month or so back in 09... That hurt! 2 years must be killing you! Keep your spirits high and push forward!

i was unemployed for a year after college, did construction stuff while was looking for a job. then i found a crappy and kept looking still and then i found an even better job that i currently have. it'll work out. being in a small town doesnt help, congrats anyhow!

well day 2 of the new job finished, my hrs are 6 to 7 am to 8 or 8:30 pm @$13 hrs so much for 12 hr shifts and they are on a 7 day a week scheudle. I am working for a fertlizer plant,I have been hauling dry fertlizer to farmer in a 16 ton truck I explaing to them I have never driven a big rig well that didnt mater to them.
