good flicks?

are there any "must see" movies out there. I'm kinda swamped by all the Super Hero movies lately and was wondering what are some good action movies where a comic book character isn't in it? I herd the "John Wick" movies were good, any body want to weigh in on that?

lol IDK. Not any of the ones I read. I'm more of an X-Men guy and FOX has ruined those movies for me.
EDIT: quick google search reveals that John Wick is NOT Based on a Comic but a Comic is based on the movie.
Also: John wick was based on an actual event of A Navy Seal named Marcus Luttrell, who wrote 'Lone Survivor", about his fire-arms ordeal called "Operation Red Wins".He was given a yellow lab named DASY. On April 1 2009, Luttrell was awaken by gunshots at his home in Texas. He saw 4 men getting away and his dog was dead. He armed himself with 2 9mm Berettas and chased the men through 4 counties until the Police caught up abd apprehended the men.

This is what served as the catalyst for the movie. I gotta go see this shit.

Been watching a series called "Murder Mountain ". It is pretty good. It can be drawn out at times . its documentary style

Never saw that movie. It's a chick flick. I was talking *Bob* Marley.

I like Sweet Home Alabama, and if I'm in the right frame of mind I don't hate Freebird. Beyond that it is a pretty big stretch to say that I "love" Skynard.

I like FFDP and A7X.

I was gonna rib you about them being potheads too, but I think FFDP are pretty straight laced. IDK really. NOT MY GENRE

FFDP is a little scream-o for me, but they do have some good ones. (Under & Over is probably my favorite)
not too familiar with Avenge7fold tho. I have heard some of their stuff.

Have you ever heard of Sterocyde? Jeff Sheilds is a Local in my area and is a pretty cool dude.
