Hello everyone. I just joined today after looking around the site for a while. I've been wrenching since I was a kid, mostly old vehicles and motorcycles. I got my first Ranger in about 2002. It was a 2.3 five speed that needed a fuel pump. It was a great little truck that I drove for about three years with no real issues. Now I have a 1986 2.9 five speed 4X4 that I got for $500 to beat around in. It has some issues that I think I can solve, I just don't know all of the technical bits about it. It started as an automatic truck with electric hubs and was changed to the FM-146 (I think) with manual shift case and manual hubs.

Thanks for what looks like a great site. I look forward to hanging around.
