My credo
God is great, beer is good, and rangers are awesome!
Im going to the junk yard some time, and I am going to get the bumper piece that has the fog lights, a radio bezel, and maybe some new seats. So, the seats, what will fit a 98 ext cab? I want Explorer seats if possible.
TIA.

Theres some info in the tech pages about it. IIRC, non-power Explorer seats will work, you re-use your tracks to do it.

Speaking of seats, I need to start looking for a good set of seat tracks for my Bronco II... from what I gather, only BII seats and possibly extended cab ranger seats work...

Ok. Are they leather or cloth? I'd rather the leather ones, and what years?

You can use any non-power Explorer seat for sure, including leather. Hope I didn't confuse you remarking that I need to find parts for my stuff, lol.

"Power" seats only need a hot and a ground for the lumbar compressor.

If you have a solid bench you will need bucket/split bench tracks from a Ranger of similar vintage and cab config as yours.

I have power seats in my Bronco. The seats don't recline in power but I put on manual rails and it moves by hand. Not that many good seats to choose from need all options.
