going to straight axle

I would do a d35 swap (100% bolt in) and call it a day. I wheeled and DD'd my d35 running 37s for 8 months...

opps my bad i did mean the D30. i have the d28 ttb im my truck i would like to put 32s or 33s this is my dd truck and a trail rig and occional offroad park it just has the 2.3 and will probly stay that way till i get a differant ranger. im not looking to make it super big till i get another car/truck im just trying to get some reserch done to see what i need to get and how much to save

Your best bet is to get to know the guys in the local xj club and your axle will follow shortly thereafter when they upgrade

This.

(well, you do have to shorten your driveshaft an inch if you're not lifted, so 'almost' bolt-in... Though if you swap to a 1354 T-case and use it's driveshaft at the same time, then it's all 100% bolt-in)

If its a D28 to D30 is what you are wanting to do, take a look at my build thread, link is in my sig., thats the same swap I did.

thanks danger ranger you trucks look pretty good looks like something i am going to probably do

The longarms is what cost me the most but i wasn't going to spare money on them. There are cheaper ones out there that hold up good too.
