Went to the junk yard to hunt and came home with some cool things you'll see later in the thread.

For some reason thought mudding (going about 25 threw mudholes) was a good idea

The track now have a hug mud hole dug into the middle. Jeeps came out..

Picked up some wheels off summit for $200. Was only focused on getting a size for bigger tires.

Those wont go on till later on down the road.

Now for what i got from the junk yard that day.

This roll bar cut straight off an old jeep and test fitted in the ranger rotting next to it.
Wanted super bright lights and when nothing i bought worked the idea clicked, "use left over lights from work". Four yard lights, a plank of wood, three hose clamps, and alot of thick wire from around the house. Couldn't be happier..

Started searching craigslist and found some amazing deals on tires.
Picked these two 30's up for $40

Picked up these three 31" goodyear wranglers for $100. Two are the more street tread version and the other is the mud terrain version.

Mounted four by hand with help from my dad and used starter fluid and a torch to set the bead on the 30's and the 31's were tight enough to seat with just air pressure. Spent all day today fixing the brakes, replacing the fuel pump, and mounting up the new wheels. Took a trip to the skatepark when i was done

But heres a picture of the truck which is better than the skatepark

Two new 31's for the front and relocated the lights to the top of the rollbar

You're on a road there is no turning back from...welcome to the club!

Kinda tight on the tire clearance but looks nice...I would add a few hockey pucks, er, round rubber disks of the correct density to raise it up a bit...only because I absolutely hate the sound of shredding rubber or tearing metal.

Are you doing another lift on it or do you do much off road stuff yet? I guess it would be ok for regular driving as long as there are no potholes or speed bumps...

Otherwise...good stuff...:icon_thumby:

I can dig it. Where in FL are you at? I'm in Bradenton.

Started a new bumper finally, it still needs supports from the ends to the bottom of the mounting brackets, and something ontop to finish it, then i'll coat it in bedliner
