RumbleGoat Racing is on fire headed into 2009!

Coming off of a second place rookie Best in the Desert (http://www.bitd.com) season full of ups and downs, the RumbleGoat Racing (RGR) team has worked over their #7302 2006 Ford Ranger FX4 with all eyes set on number #1 for 2009! The opening race of this season is the Parker Bluewater 425 in Parker, AZ. One of the most prestigious and grueling races of the circuit, Parker is famed for it’s grueling rock sections, fast straight aways, consuming silt beds and infamous Parker Dust!

RGR is coming with guns loaded. The team has massed one of the most broadly experienced volunteer support crews in the sport, who are chomping at the bit to take on whatever the Arizona desert can throw at them. The race truck is packing heat with freshened radios from Radio Service Company (http://bizrad.com), new gears from 4wheelingplus.com (http://www.4wheelingplus.com), a new navigation system, a tuned up transmission thanks to our friends at Ford (http://www.ford.com) and brand new Goodyear MT/R’s (http://www.goodyear.com).

RumbleGoat racing is offering the opportunity for YOU to get involved this race, and not even leave your house. Their updated website (http://www.rumblegoatracing.com) will be hosting live updates and satellite tracking for the entire race. The team will be in continual contact, giving you updates literally from the driver’s seat! You are welcome to offer any of your thoughts and comments by registering on the forum.

The chase trucks are packed and the crew is fired up. Watch for a convoy of Ford diesels flying RumbleGoat Racing stickers, rolling south. Next stop, Parker, Arizona …. Dust or Bust!

Well, we battled the desert, the weather and some fierce competition to come home with a first place win!!! This is a huge stepping stone for the team, and hopefully the start of a very successful season.
