Heh, now I've got something more to hold over my local GM lover friends. The bailout arugment was getting old, now GM provides me with more ammunition.

Anyway, all the more reason to keep driving Ford.

Trying to push GM vehicles on us. Like heck that will ever happen. It will only justify GM's Volt. And there is now way, no how that I'm paying $40k for a vehicle. I will buy that used 2005 Escape Hybrid that I saw for $9500 before buying GM's Volt.

This assclown's theory is apparently "every US driver is looking to buy a new car, so jacking up gas prices will make them buy OURS!". I have no interest in ever buying a NEW car to begin with, and I don't personally know anyone who is financially secure enough to buy a new car off the lot. Higher gas prices means average people will have less money to live on because they have to pay more for gas to get to their low paying job. It would have a worse affect on people my age trying to enter the job market.

Also, does this idiot not realise that people have a NEED for vehicles with more practical uses than some little shite ecobox that carries a driver and 3.5 people with 2 cubic foot of cargo space?

does anyone know where this asshat lives?? probaly went into hiding underground after this got out. i know that i will never own any vehicle that has a "black box", on-star or ford's equivalent of on-star...i am way to paranoid for any of that...

We should have put GM to sleep, and not saved it. the only good cars they ever built are the '60's and early '70's. anyway.
