I live in a fairly rural area; closest "real" junk yard is over 100 miles away. But there is a guy that as a good collection of older cars, think of it as a mini junk yard.
Any way I just acquired a 1987 bronco II 4x4 2.9L bone stock, with no options, a plain Jane model for 500 dollars.
This mini junk yard has a 1984 BII XLT with a 2.8L 4x4. I want the steering column witch has intermittent wipers, tilt wheel, and cruise. I know the cruise would take some other parts besides the column. But my question is will the wipers harness off the 84 column plug into my harness, or is there some splicing involved, or do I need the wiper motor as well to get the delay feature on the wipers? I can’t see why the column won’t just swap out without any modification. Any feedback will be great. I did a search but everything was newer rangers.
