At one time, I would have suggested this, however, there are much better options... I have a Fenix E20 2-AA LED light... It shines brighter and further than a 4-D Cell Maglite LED. Nothing beatsthe durability of a mag light....I've thrown mine thirty yards turned on and hit a tree aand it still works

Oh, sorry, you mean for your truck...did you know that a heavy duty blow-up doll can be used to lift your truck to change a tire? You might need to get the Dominator Suzi version though, I think she's made of triple layer poly...but I don't know...really~

If course, however, there are better options for light projection, the maglite is good for a hammer, but it just has a poor light setup, even with LED conversions.

There's aftermarket options that turn it into a much more viable option than the factory LED bulb.


However, if you're on a budget you'll get more light for your money elsewhere.

2 d cell led maglight...nothings worse than when your stuck or stranded and can't see shit.

and extra batteries...nothin like puttin a coil back in, in the dark by the light of a cell phone
