getting very mad at my ranger

First the truck was running fine till it warmed up and than it did the problem I've had a problem i have had for a while. it started holding back and i step on the gas and dose nothing eventually it kicks it self out of it and takes off. that's one problem. the next is likeep 10 min later it is hard to shift and in neutral it had kind of a block in it. than after that i stoped at the gas station i was in second and it died on me. it started up fine than about 10 min later was causing around town for a sec and stopped at a stop sign and it started chugging and went from 1000 rpms to 600 and than kept jumping until i took of and oh when it was idling all mused up at that point it wouldn't shift into first. and i parked it in the driveway and havnt drivin it since. any ideas i would appreciate the help

Have you tried pissing on it? Worked with my old ranger... Smoked a bit and smelled horrible.. But it worked.

3. y is my truck once in awhile while Im stopped at a stop sign idle rough, chug, and jump between 1000rpms to 600
btw regular idle is 1300rpm

First thing I would try is to pull codes. That might point you in the right direction. Then in the upper right section of each page on here is a dark blue square button that reads "search". Input the code numbers you get and research from there.

I have a 5 speed and it in neutral going from between 3rd and 1st there is a block for some reason than it is trying to die when Im idling at a stop sign. and when the truck first warms up it holds back and starts sputtering than kicks itself out and takes off. and today i was heading into town and it wouldn't shift into first. i can get it into first a couple of times while stopped at a stop sign. other times i can get into first at all like now its parked in the driveway and it will go into all gears other than first Im thinking its the syncs but im not forshure
