We decided to give the niece our 02 Cherokee so she can have something nice and reliable to drive to collage (she has two years left). This has been a flawless Jeep. Great 4wd, never had any issues with it so it will be great for her. Just turned 75,000 miles on it last week.
We will keep the Ranger and the 03 Corolla. We are getting a new SUV (maybe a Nissan, or Hyundai Santa Fe?). We went looking last weekend and I did like two of the Nissan's SUV's (Rouge and the Murano). We don't want leather or a sunroof.....just don't want one set up that way. Roof rack a must!!!!!

Is that you under the Jeep? It looks like there's a STRAY CAT under there!

Let mr guess: The Jeeps purrs like a kitten, and that's why there's a hair ball in the exhaust!

good deal for your niece for sure. the Nissan's are nice for sure, but i understand where you are coming from. it's nearly impossible to buy a new vehicle without power everything. then there's all the stuff you don't want but are forced into because of "packages" that include the things you do want. good luck in your shopping.

LOL, ha ha!! That is me under the Jeep. Cats are so sneaky!!! We can get into anything we want!!!!! lol

The cat's name is Toonces the Driving Cat. She can drive a car....no lie!!!!!

She is my neighbors cat and she is indoor/outdoor.

Man, if I don't want power locks and windows it will cost us $1,000!!! Dang, just get them and I do hate them but why pay more???

So if you ordered a vehicle through the dealer with the options you wanted it would cost $1000 more to get it without the the electric locks and windows? Thats screwed up......

You dont happen to need a new nephew do you?

LOL, not another one? My nephew was coming to live with us for the summer back in 05. Fixed up a room for him and bought a nice one year old mountain bike for him. It was a Kona Dawg. He never got to come that year. He got arrested for DUI. Had to do probation and so on, and so on...then he called and said he was coming the next month (this is in early 06) and then he got arrested again for DUI......now get this......he was only 18 at his second arrest!!! He never got to come and stay the summer with us. 2 years in jail time!!

pretty much, my grandmother bought a chevy aveo. she wanted one with ac and a auto and it cost her quite a bit just to have those to options together:annoyed:. this is her frist chevy since she got married. i told her get a ford next time :D

I'd rather have power locks dude. The windows can be manual though =P.

After having to go to each side of my truck to lock the doors from the outside, I like electric.

Sometimes I wish I did have power windows and locks...like when it's raining, or when a hot babe pulles up to your right and she rolls her window down to chat at a traffic light or she needs directions or wants to know if your single or married and wants to go get coffee...but I tell them all...I'm married and very happy!!!

Another thing I do hate about not having the power windows is... somebody pulls up net to you on the right and needs to ask a question and I have to unbuckle the seat belt and lean way over to reach the window crank and you feel like a dork.....lol
