getting ready to dana 44 it

I got a 94 4l 5 speed getting ready to put eb danna 44 and 9 inch in it. I got a set 9" bronco coils just wondering if there is anything i should wacth out for, or anything that going to give me trouble?

so i got the ranger done gotta get some pic's today. It turned out alot bigger than i suspected with the 9 inch eb coils and 3 inch body lift sits up there. Got a serious bump steer problem lol, it has a 4 inch drop pitman arm that was allready on it, anyone got any ideas on steering linkages?

A longer pitman arm, the skyjacker 6 inch drop, might help you out. Got pics?

Are your draglink and trackbar parallel to each other? and are they at least close to horizontal with the truck sitting on level ground?

so i would say no not even close to same angle. and i'll try to get more pics when this snow storm quites.

Driveshaft and steering angles need some serious attention!

I suggest using shorter coils, those are rather impractical

Yea i know the steering need's some work thats why i asked and there is no way it's getting diffrent coils i know it's not pratical but it's not a trial rig it goes trew mud.

Absolute must (no getting around this one), you need to put a Hi-Steer kit on that thing if you want to resolve your steering issue.

any links for a high steer kit or is this something i should just fab up my self.

You need flat top knuckles, milled, drilled, and tapped. Then pick up a set of high steer arms of your choice, complete with studs and conical washers (or tapered nuts). Buy some grade 8 hardware while you're at it.

I went with chevy knuckles with their small bearing spindle. That way I was able to retain the ford hub and lug pattern. Do some research and find what's best for your application.

If its strictly a trail truck you counld also do a full hydro set up. But this will not be legal for the street in most states though so if you street drive high steer is your best bet.
