Okay I have a 91' Ford ranger 2WD which I have added a Rough Country 4" suspension lift, 31x10.50 on 15x8 Black Unique wheels. I am getting ready for another revision and wanted to know if with my TTB and 4" Rough Country lift can I add spacers to get a little extra??I have thought about changing lifts completely and going with the skyjacker 6" but would like some expertise. I know Im going with a 3"body lift as well, but want to squeeze out as much as possible to clear some 33x12.50 on XD wheels with decent fender room, but also I plan to get all new pre-runner style fenders, Im currently building bumpers and a skid plate to help out.

i'm sure you can stack washers under the coil seat just like we do on the 4x4's, or get 6 inch coils to replace the 4" ones

I could just change the 4" coils for 6" coils?? Is this too much stress?? If it is possible :icon_cheers: then im adding 6"coils front, 6" leafs rear, and a 3" body lift in which I really really hope to clear 35s, but I definetly will roll with 33s if not. Seriously guys could this work out? I know I cannot be in uncharted waters here any info will help.

i know on 4x4 and with the kits that the drop brackets have 2 holes, one for 6" and one for 4" everyone uses the 4" hole with 6" springs cuz it makes the steering geometry better

What holes?? On the radius arm brackets or the I-Beam brackets?
Heres the kit(pics are identical for both 2WD and 4WD) vvvvvvvv

On Pro Comp 2wd lifts there are two holes for the beams to mount too. They are for 4 and 5.5 inches of lift. I looked for a picture, but it showed the same type you have. The ones I have on the shelf are two holes.

the spacers should be ideal, and the coils should be even more perfect, with the body lift you'll be able to clear 35's with no problem. good luck with all that, i'm literally in exactly the same boat. Rough Country 4 inch, 2WD, all the fancy BS, but my shocks are maxed out all the way around, did you use the ones RC sent you or did you upgrade? i was looking to use spacers but that wouldn't help the shocks maxing out over the gravel in my driveway. still going to use them anyway for the added curb appeal and better tire clearance. i would think with a 3 inch body lift you would have no problem whatsoever. i cleared 35's with just the RC lift. but i have no bed currently and my front clip was ruined in a roll-over, the fenders and hood are new so you can't see the massive amount of missing and mangled metal underneath. however, turning with 35's can be fun, try not to do any police style maneuvers...:icon_thumby::icon_cheers:
