i was wondering if i should get rid of my sway bar and what it would drive like on the road thanks in advance

it will be floppy as crap. i did it awhile ago and had to put it back on cause it was close to dangerous and i woulda flipped if any evasive manuvers were needed. you can look at a quick disconnect kit for it the make them you just gotta look.

I havent been running one in 3 years. Not a big deal really....take them off for a week and see for yourself and put them back on if you dont like it. TTB coils are so stiff you can get away with no sway bar. Many people here on TRS dont run them.

I personally dont cuz my coils are already super stiff and leaving the sway bar unhooked allows the "independent nature of TTB suspension to act independently". AKA it rides better without them.

....i have 6 plus inches of suspension lift, and removed BOTH of my sway bars. It drives hardly any different than when it did have them, and flexes out a shit ton more. If it is the '94 in his sig, than i wouldnt hesitate in teh slightest to remove them.

SLA IFS trucks ('98 & up) seem to get sloppier when you remove the swaybar than TTB trucks do.

I would take the other's advice though and just see what it's like and then decide whether to leave it off or not. All that's needed is to unhook one side of it (remove it's end link).

Took mine off and will never put it back on. It lets the suspension actually do its job and makes the ride a million times smoother. It does body roll a lot more tho. Just don't be a moron and drive like your in a Ferrari and you'll be fine.:icon_thumby:

hell mine was actually broke and never even noticed it. took bout 6 months of driving my truck for anyone to notice. the links were snapped off

ill just rip it off then and make up a set of limiting straps for the front end then

how much more flex did you guys get after taking it out? I have been thinking about doing this to my ranger.

Do you need limiting straps if you take off the swaybar?

no, the shocks will limit the suspension like it always does...
