Geo Tracker spewing fuel

I think that was the code I was getting also and the guy said it was the lines to that connector at the front were wrong...if you take the top hose on the outside off the connector (should be three or four of them) you should hear it increase in idle to about 1500 rpm or 2000 rpm...leave it off for a few seconds and then plug it back in...it somehow managed to clear the codes on mine and the CEL would go off...had to do it a few times but it always cleared...

Other than that...mine was getting 400 km on a 40 litre tank...did the conversion and can't remember what that was in US dollars, but I think it was around 28 or 30 mpg....I drove it for 5 years and never got better than that...got lower if the air filter was dirty or the tires were under inflated...

I also chucked the back seat to reduce weight...and managed to carry only 20 lbs or so of tools since it was a very reliable vehicle...

white smoke out the exhaust & wet plugs sounds like a blown head gasket to me.

white in the daylight, it seriously smelled like vaporized raw fuel... not oil or water, fuel...

it's back to it's normal gas mileage if not a hair better now, but now the radiator is toast...overheated on me on the first nice day of the year, just to the point of loosing a quart of coolant but still not good

That's what killed my engine...it was actually a leaky water pump...

Might want to look at changing the water pump while you are doing a rad...they are not hard but you have to remove the timing belt to get at the pump...no biggie as long as you don't move the cam or crank in the process...they are interference engines...

just did the water pump a month ago, right before the injector stuck and stuff... stupid radiator was $140! it cools right down now if I turn the heater on but that tells me the radiator is toast, or at least close to it as it takes 20 miles doing 70mph for it to start getting hot... this thing is getting spendy but i did gain at least 1 mpg after cleaning the injectors

I changed the rad on my Zuki after a front end accident broke off one of the transmission lines...but I actually connected then together with brake line for three months before doing the swap...it happened late fall and I drove all winter with those lines shunted through the brake line...
