Ok so I'm driving down 50 highway when all of a sudden the car acts like it's was put in nuetral and then It regains its power to the wheels for a few seconds and then it slips again and repeats the slippage maybe one more time, and by this time I am slowing down on the shoulder, of course I put my hazards on, and I tryed to start it up again (to prevent the battery from being drained to much from the hazards) and all it does is crank over but doesn't fire, we hauled it to a nearby school parkng lot and are leaving it till tomorrow, I'm glad I didn't scrap my 89' bonneville (the GEO is my parents), the bonneville still runs and just needs licensed and insured to use it and I think I can trust it even with 220,000 miles on it. Anyways, anyone have a clue about the GEO? I think it's tranny related but I don't know...
