After the front coils, I think I might throw in a few washers too.

:shok:

:icon_thumby: i dig this truck. read the build page:icon_thumby: our trucks have basicly the same setup. bigest difference is the wristed arm to my stock arms. hows that workin for yea? and is that a fullwidth 8.8?

rear is out of an explorer, with spacers. The front wristed arm is HANDS DOWN the best mod i've ever done to this truck. flex and stability are amazing, no ill effects driving. I was worried at first, i had read some people say they had brake dive and bad road manners. i've got about 20,000 miles on that wristed arm without pinning it and it drives great. About 2 weeks ago a lady on a cell pulled out in front of me. I locked them up and stopped about 6 inches from her door. The look on her face was :icon_surprised:, she almost got a M8000 winch to her chin. I lol'ed

How much of a difference does your grille cover make? I am considering making one because my little 4banger won't get up to temperature.

Just loosen you fan shroud (2 8mm bolts), slide in a piece of cardboard to cover the top 1/4 of your radiator, then tighten the shroud down to hold it in place.

Only costs you one pizza that way.

Ill play to..

I just use a burlap sack, straighten a coat hanger and poke it through the sack then poke it down in front of the rad. Bend over the hanger around something strong. Or just ziptie it in front of the rad. Under the hood of coarse

it helps it warm up faster, really doesnt make it any warmer, i only have a 4 mile commute, (2 miles of that thru town) so its just getting up to temperature by the time i get to work/get home. if im out on a long drive it does help also, gets up to temp about 5 min sooner. have to take it off when it gets above 50 if im driving very far. it would make a bigger difference if it was closer to the radeator, but id have to remove it if it got much above freezing. i also like how it keeps salt & slush crap out of the radeator. i had those lund "cold front" plexiglass inserts on my 3/4 ton g.m. they did well but were rather expensive.

bad ass truck mikez
