WOW some sweet trucks posted here, nice job boys.

I think we need to schedule an offroad meet?

We need to bring back a large RANGER MEET.

i'm in PA myself, any takers?:icon_cheers:

I miss my Gen III. It was a 1996 Ranger XL 4x4 ex cab with the 3.0L V6 and an auto trans with manual transfer case. I am on my third ranger now but my 1996 i had was the only 4x4 I sold it to buy a new Motorcycle as i also had a 2004 VW jetta TDI at the time for a cage. Now i have sold the Jetta to get a Ranger again but this one is 2wd (i wanted a new truck but i did not want a 4.0L and 4x4's can not be had with the 3.0L anymore :bawling:). None the less i love my new ranger but still miss the go anywere feeling of the old Gen III. Here is a pic of the old beast (mostly stock but on 30/9.5" Cooper Discovery's witch worked surprisingly good on all kinds of surfaces).

Eventually i want to find a Gen III 4x4 Reg Cab 4cyl 5speed just as a off road rig.

When I get my truck done, which will be almost the same setup as yours, we can meet up at Rousch.

Then we'll have some of this:icon_cheers:

if you loosed the four bumper bolts you can straighten that front bumper easily, they come loose and slide down like that

It's a 95 supercab XLT, 4x4, 4.0l with 5 speed trans. 3" BL and belltech shackles. 33" pro comp mt's on 15" American racing rims. Warn manual hubs, l/s rear diff with 3.73 gears in both.

I tried the bumper thing but that is the highest it moved, I think the owner before me installed the brackets upside down. Also, until the front is lifted more I thnk the tires would rub the bumper when turning an hitting bumps.

I just got laid off 20 minutes ago so it will sit like that for a bit....damn economy!!!

thats one nice ride you got there!
Im new here, how did you get your photos within your thread? Its probably a cinch and I just overlooked it....thanks if you can help....
once again what a nice truck.
