I want to replace the headlight lense in my Gen II BII. I got the whole assembly out but how does the headlight come out. I'm trying not to break it, just wondering what the trick is.

it's gotta be cake compared to getting a headlight out of a gen 1 with a grill guard. :woot:
sorry, that's not helpful at all. I've been needing to change a headlight for over a week now and haven't done it cause I haven't had two hours to spend on it. haha

IIRC, I think you have to unthread the adjusting screws to remove the headlight housing from it's mounting bracket.

i've done it a few times at work and on my truck.i used a small screw driver to get under the tabs and needle nose plyers to rotate the brown and tan plastic anchors 90 degrees to separate .if you practice a little on another bucket you can do it without breaking anything.remember to aim your lights afterwards.

Thats the answer I was looking for. I didn't know if those tabs actually turned or not before I broke them off. Thanks.

Matt
