So I saw this image, thought it looked cool, and I want to do this conversion to my truck. Anyone know how hard it would be?

I know I would need to hunt down a newer ranger to rob parts from but I'll be doing a 5.0 conversion as well anyway so i'm in no rush.
Pic of my truck now for reference:

The fenders on the at truck are aftermarket so easy enough to get. There is someone on site selling a pair of front fenders for $300. Then if you do some fiberglass work to the front of the fender you could match the body lines of the newer front hood and light assembly and it would look OK.

Your truck is already a 2nd gen... 89-92.

Some fiberglass place sells prerunner fenders for 2nd gen trucks to make them look like 3rd gen. Just Google it

To do a genuine gen 2 to gen 3 conversion you need the sheet metal, so fenders, hood, grill, bumper, you also need a core support, inner fenders, and all the lights.

Cammeradz did this with a B2, he swapped on a 95 Explorer front clip.

Geez those body lines and gaps are awful, and you think it looks cool? Nothing lines up well, headlights look awful, you could fit a sandwich sideways though those body gaps haha. I think you would be depreciating your truck severely if you try to copy this guy...

They used to make kits like that, I thought Fiberwerx was the place that did it but they don't show it anymore. They were fiberglass and they were aftermarket so it took a little fitting for everything to look right. TRS2 has the fender kit and it looks pretty sharp even after its abuse the last couple owners put it thru.

MCNEIL makes just about every conversion you can think of. really well fitting fenders might i add. i have em on my truck from and back (non conversion).
heres a picture of my buddys square body with a explorer front end.
