im lifting my truck and want to put new gears in it im reading about all the gears in the rear but what about up front? i have a 99 ranger 4x4

you should have the same gear ratio rear and front, if thats what you are wanting to know

i know that but i have a 8.8 rear so say i buy the ring a pinion for that am i also gonna get a ring and pinion for a 8.8 for my front

...you have a dana 35 in the front. Do you plan on installing them yourself? if so you may need to do a little more reading...
