gearing question

im doing the dana 35 swap in my ranger an i cant get the 8.8 off the explorer they want way to much so im gonna do my gears now since the dana 35 im getting has 3.55 an my rear is 3.73. so whats the best place to get 4.56 gears for the dana 35 an ford 7.5 an whats all this reversed/standard rotation garbage i never heard of before? im keepin my 7.5 cause i havnt heard to much bad bout it, unlike the dana 28

The TTB D35 uses reverse rotation gears... I learned that the hard way. It has 8 bolts on the ring gear.

I got mine off eBay, just be sure you know what you're buying.

so all the explorers have reversed? or what year did they change? this 35 is from an explorer. an they dont make a gear pack for a 35/ 7.5 combo you gotta buy em seperate

ALL TTB axles are Reverse cut. They switched to standard cut when IFS was introduced (95 for EX's and 98 for Rangers).

TRS Fab&Off-Road has some 8.8&D35 packages, but I didn't see any for 7.5&D35.

ok that makes sence now gotcha, yea i gotta get money for gears first. im pretty close to sellin my 2wd ranger to get a fuel economy car gas is crazy thats what stoppin me on my 4wd project
