I recently purchased a truck that had bigger tires/a different dif put in it. How can i determine what speedo gear to get to make it read the right speed in the truck? Any help would be appreciated. It is a 2007 Ford Ranger 4x2 Automatic Tranny 2.3l

FWIW the gear change will not affect the speedometer in that truck, only the tire change.

i know you can get new ring & pinion gears in for different size tires, but i'm not sure if it's supposed to counteract ecu settings nut it will help with power.

You post 2 links and the link at the top, if you read it, states that the 1995+ Rangers us a sensor not a gear.:annoyed:

Well i called the dealership and they said they Calibrated to the biggest tire size calibration that ford had? Which means the 31" tires are too big of tire that ford never released a ecu reflash for bigger tires?
